You like how I totally disappeared for a week with no notice, no explanation? Our little jaunt out of town last weekend double-whammied me: this week I have been sooooo tired and have had SOOOO much to do (laundry, anyone?)
But I'm back!
And a big thank you!! to Diane for holding up the fort in my absence. Isn't she just ALL kinds of awesome??? (Seriously, thank you Diane.)
Okay, so not only did I completely skip MM last week, but I have neglected posting about the fantabulous package for Shannon's Hometown Swap I received right before we hit the road. And how lucky am I?? My package was from Shannon herself! So I'm being as efficient as I can to try and catch up . . . first, check out my stuff!

It was like Christmas in ---um, JUNE! A box full of presents---whee!!
We got some fun things from the Tennessee Aquarium: a tote (which was quite convenient on our trip!!), some gummy treats (the kids gobbled as many as I would let them!), and an adorable magnet with penguins "swimming" inside;
a chocolate AND vanilla Moon Pie (which I have seen before, but never tasted. YUM!);
some Sticky Fingers BBQ sauce which I am saving for the next time we fire up the grill (it might be awhile--temps are going upUpUP here!);
a baseball bat keychain from the Chatanooga Lookouts (which M claimed and hung on his backpack);
some yummmmmmy smelling handmade soap and lip balm from a local shop in Chatanooga;
a booklet of pictures all around Chatanooga that Shannon put together--very cool!
and last, but certainly not least, a postcard picture and an ornament of the Chatanooga ChooChoo. This is perfect because X has been obsessed with vehicles lately, especially trains. The postcard has been lovingly carried everywhere with us the last couple of weeks and the ornament has to be hidden, lest it come to an early demise (I already have to do a minor repair).
Overall, this was such a fun package to get and as a swap newbie, I am so thankful to Shannon for putting such great loot together for us! Thanks Shannon!
If you want to see what I got my partner, click here. It's very Viva Las Vegas!
Now, to honor the place where my presents came from, a song about Tennessee, of course! This is the first one that popped into my head (there are several, you know!!) and it reminded me of high school. So get your funky beat on and enjoy . . .
Link up and share--what's moving YOU this week?

And I'm so glad to see a picture of you!
I've been meaning to ask you where you have met most of your blogging friends. I never see you in the Mormon Mommy Blog circles, if you will.

Yay! So glad you like everything... and I had a great time putting it together for you!
I hope the Moon Pies weren't melted... that's the one bad thing about shipping chocolate, LOL!

Ah, the memories your blog brings back! We love Tennessee, especially Chattanooga! May have to plan a weekend getaway and it's all because of you and your post here! :)
yeah...I did kind of wonder where you'd gone, but EVERYONE seemed to have disappeared this week :). Invasion of the bloggy snatchers, maybe?
Sounds like a simply devine southern package to get!
What great gifts you received!

You always take me back with your music. That one definitely dredges up some memories.
